Alexander Plum is an analyst at DIW econ. He is a public finance expert and labor economist and has extensive knowledge in econometrics and statistics. In his empirical work he examined among others the German low-wage sector and the impact of a VAT reform. Furthermore, he is working on model simulations of future developments in the energy sector. Alexander Plum studied economics at the University of Mannheim and at the Free University of Berlin.
