PROF. DR. REINER STAEGLIN

is a Senior Research Associate with DIW econ and a Research Professor at DIW Berlin. He is an honorary professor in Economic Statistics and Input-Output Accounting and a leading expert for analyzing input-output data as well as for the System of National Accounts and the development of statistical infrastructure. He served many years as President of the International Input-Output Association and he was the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the German Statistical Society. In addition he is a member of the Statistical Advisory Board to the German Federal Government. Currently he is the principal consultant with the DIW econ project on the "Construction of Input-Output Table for Brunei Darussalam".
